The US Navy released an Rfl on 30 April seeking a new surface combatant-based UAV with long endurance to support reconnaissance missions. The navy says it is looking for a new unmanned surveillance aircraft thatrncan be launched from a Littoral Combat Ship, cruiser or destroyer, with a mission radius between 300 and 1,000 n miles.rnThe UAV also must have an on-sta-tion endurance of at least eight hoursrnand as much as 72 hours.
