Shipbuilders DCNS and Navantia have finally put an end to a long-running dispute concerning submarine design and production with the announcement that collaboration on the Scorpene family of dlesel-electric submarines will come to an end.rnSpecific terms of the resolution were not specified on 12 November, although both parties said in a statement that "the arbitration procedure [between the companies] will be terminated". The statement added: "Scorpene submarines will from nowrnon be built and marketed by DCNS [while] S 80 submarines will be built and marketed by Navantia."
