Denmark is moving forward with plans to retrofit a low-frequency active variable depth anti-submarine warfare (ASW) sonar on the Royal Danish Navy's (RDN's) two Absalon-class frigates. The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) issued an information notice on 20 October advising its intention to acquire two Low Frequency Active Towed Array Sonar (TAS) systems and a spare wet end for the RDN. Interested parties have been given until 24 November to register.
