The United Arab Emirates' (UAE's) Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority (CICPA) commissioned a new patrol boat for coastguard operations at the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2021 trade show in Abu Dhabi on 23 February. Completed at Albwardy Damen shipyard in Dubai, Shujaa (P5004) is one of a new class of patrol boats entering service with CICPA based on Damen's Stan Patrol 5009.
