摘要

We first embedded a triangular one-dimensional photonic crystal in a slab waveguide of a Ta_2O_5 core with SiO_2 cladding. The change in the output angle was 4.8° with the incident wavelength change of 1% for wavelengths of 1400-1500 nm. This value was 1.7 times larger than that of our previous photonic crystal with a SiO_2 core. In addition, the maximum diffraction efficiency of 25% was achieved, which was a considerable improvement over the efficiency of our previous one.
