The original version of this article contains an error. The comment by Drury and Waldai (2012) concerns two issues: (1) omission of the ETM+ mosaic that we already dealt with; (2) an error related to the figure caption (Fig. 1). Regarding their specific comments, we relate that the stream networks were not traced from the Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+), but were automatically extracted from a digital elevation model (DEM). We also did not use the ETM+ for tracing or automatic extraction of the stream networks, as we know that it is impossible to extract these channels automatically using ETM+.
