摘要

Two methods of improving the off-axis response prediction of flight mechanics models are compared and validated at hover and forward flight based on UH-60 flight test data. The first method incorporates an aerodynamic phase lag to development of the rotor forces and moments, and the second method appends an angular wake distortion term to the dynamic inflow representation. Both methods improve considerably the agreement of the model with the flight data. The methods can be used alone or together, and each method appears insensitive to rotor configuration.
