The answer to the question put forth in the introduction is that the percentage of books having personal authors that are cataloged in a research library that will become entries in a one-screen minicat is 36.6% when searched. This finding makes it clear that libraries could significantly reduce cataloging expenditures by simplifying cataloging nearly two-fifths of the time.
