Stability of Viscoelastic Bodies Accounting Aging and Interaction with Fluid or Gas

Dynamic and quasi-static stability of viscoelastic bodies (rods, plates, shells) of material with heredity compressed by longitudinal forces,supported at viscoelastic aging bases,and interacting with ideal fluid (or gas),is investigated. Following classes of problems are considered: dynamics of walls or bottom of the vessel with a fluid having free surface; oscillations of the walls of rectangular or circular cross section channel when the fluid or a gas flows through it (subsonic, transonic, supersonic regimes of motion); dynamics of viscoelastic elements of plane surface flown without detachment or by jet free unbounded stream; oscillations of the plates in supersonic gas flow. The solving of listed problems and the investigation of their stability is based on the using of Galerkin's method,conformal mappings, Laplace transform and on the construction of Lyapounov type functionals for differential and integrodifferential equations. The great number of investigations on stability of viscoelastic aging bodies, has been made in last decade. Information about them can be obtained from [1,2] where the vast bibliography is represented. Sufficiently complete review of works devoted to interaction of elastic bodies with fluid or gas, is given in monographs. In this work and in [5-13] presented are some author's results on stability of viscoelastic thin-walled structures accounting aging and aerohydrodynamic affect.
