摘要

The paper deals with the variable stepsize variable order BDF for nonlinear index-2 differential algebraic equations. Under low smoothness assumptions the stability behaviour for the class of time-dependent quasilinear systems is discussed. Further, there will be given precise conditions to the perturbations, which guarantee the feasibility of the method.%Die Arbeit behandelt die BDF mit variabler Schrittweite und variabler Ordnung für nichtlineare Index-2-DAEs. Unter schwachen Glattheitsvoraussetzungen wird das Stabilitätsverhalten für die Klasse der zeitabhängigen quasilinearen Systeme diskutiert. Weiterhin werden präzise Bedingungen für die Störungen angegeben, die die Durchführbarkeit der Methode garantieren.
