摘要

I refer to the paper by Delwyn Jones published in the above issue and entitled 'Is the Identification of Matters in Dispute Pivotal to the Legitimacy of Party Wall Procedures?' While I have long held many of the views set out by the author in the major part of the paper, I was disappointed to note that it included an incidental misstatement of law that had, I thought, been long-ago discredited. The author included, on page 338, the following passage (the same words are included in a shorter paper by the same author recently published by the Pyramus & Thisbe Club in the Spring 2015 issue of 'Whispers').
