Consumer behavior includes acquisition, consumption and disposition. Businesses have generally been most concerned about producing and distributing goods. But as companies accept environmental responsibility and embrace ethical values, they must attend to consumer disposition with equal ardor. This article seeks to understand consumer disposition processes and how companies can plan for the entire product lifecycle, including the end.
