HEAT AND MOISTURE transport through textiles and clothing are im- portant consideration when designing garments and textile items. The aim of this paper is to highlight the fundamental aspects of heat and Moisture transport with specific military applications. In peace time the en- Vironmental conditions can be considered to be one of the greatest threats To servicemen.
