Bi-Sb signle crystals with a well defined slope of compostion have been grwon by the gradient projecion method (GPM). The gradient crystakls obtianed exhibit a lattice parameter gradeint of Δα/αdz=0.835/100/cm and Δc/c/dz=0.79/100/cm. The concentration profiles of the grown crystls shwo a good approximtion to a linear dstribution. Bly adusting the grwoth rate and using a single crystaline seed the qualtiy of the grown crystals could be drastically increased.
