摘要

Effect of copper compound on biochemical parameters of fresh water fish Tilapia mossambica. Fish were exposed for short term bioassay test, 96 h LC 50 values were found to be 0.253 mg/l. The fish were then exposed to sub-lethal level (1/3 of LC 50 value) and the target organ muscle and liver were selected to estimate the amount of protein for the duration of 0, 10th and 20th days. Heavy metal (Copper sulphate) significantly decreased protein level in muscle and liver.
