GYROTRON V is the latest in a series of tunable, millimetre/submillimetre wavelength sources designed and built at the University of Sydney. The output of this source is converted into a focused, linearly-polarised beam using a variety of quasi-optical techniques, namely, a quasi-optical antenna and a Gaussian telescope.
