摘要

A recent study conducted for the aerospace industry showed that more than 29 percent of microwave assemblies fail during installation, and aircraft manufacturers have accepted the practice of simply replacing them. However, with the need to decrease costs, they can no longer afford the total cost associated with assemblies that cannot withstand the installation process and the extreme conditions of aerospace. Manufacturers need assemblies that provide the same level of electrical performance before and after installation as well as throughout their service life.
