China is a gigantic market. It will not be too much to say that the progress of China's digital television will hold the key not only to the development of China's information industry, but also influences the global economy. China needs to review and learn from the digital broadcasting roadmaps of developed countries, such as their policy and action plans. From this, China can draw up a policy that will meet the national requirements of the country and pursue a grand-scale shift to digital broadcasting.
