摘要

A survey study on radioactivity of drinking water from water supply and natural sources in Albania is in progress since 2007. The samples are collected in 4 seasons of the year. The measurement of gross alpha- and gross beta-activity is used as a screening method. The most values of alpha- and beta-activity in the selected samples were lower than the permissible limit for drinking water consumption, 0.1 and 1.0 Bq/1, respectively. The determination of alpha-emitters was performed applying alpha-spectrometry. The values of ~(238)U and the ~(234)U varies from 0.55 to 24.42 mBq/1 and from 0.63 to 24.82 mBq/1, respectively. The ~(234)U/~(238)U activity ratio was between 1.07 and 1.23.
