The access and the use in optional condition of the European Union funds, allocated to agriculture and rural space supposes, among others, the achievement of some prefeasibility studies which will emphasise the opportunity of the investments, taken into account. In this work are concisely presented the results of cattle, sheep and goat potential in Berca area, Buzau county, also the results of raw milk quality and of milk collecting capacity. For the purpose of the study the authors have collaborated with the local officials in 15 communes, with the Agriculture Direction of Buzau county, the County Office for Agriculture Consultancy and Buzau county Prefect's office.
