The Pesticide and Environment Italian Research Group (GRIFA) "Pesticide in soil, fate and effects on environment" Workshop was held on 2-6 July 2012 in Bari, Italy, during the 4th International Congress of the European Confederation of Soil Science Societies (ECSSS), "EUROSOIL 2012-Soil Science for the Benefit of Mankind and Environment", organized by Prof. Nicola Senesi (President of ECSSS). EUROSOIL 2012 was the 4th edition of a very successful series after those held in Reading (UK) 2000, Freiburg (Germany) 2004, and Wien (Austria) 2008.
