The aim of this section is for you to identify and try to answernpuzzles, especially methodological ones, in health servicesnresearch and policy. Readers are invited both to submitnquestions that they think will be of general interest or whichnare particularly topical, and to offer answers to questions.nQuestions can be ones that you feel have not beennsatisfactorily answered in the existing literature, ones whichnrelate to ‘self-evident’ de.nitions that need to be madenproblematic, or paradoxes. New questions for which we arenseeking answers for the next issue of the journal appear below.nWe still welcome answers to previously posed questions.nAnswers can be up to 200 words in length and should strivenfor elegance. If more than one, similar, answer is provided, thencriterion of choice for publication will be wit and originality.nIn order to try to publish answers, as far as possible, in thenissue following the published question, we would like yournanswers by 26 April 2004.nNonetheless, we would be interested in contributions receivednafter that date as well.
