The Helton herd of Joseph Heler Farms, based in Audlem, Cheshire, became the proud host of this year's National Competitions Day. On Saturday 1st July a white swarm descended on Parkes Farm, eager to compete in the stock judging and linear assessment competitions at the 11th year of this event. A total of 14 clubs attended, from as far and wide as Northern Ireland and Cornwall, seeing a total of 63 young members compete in the stock judging and 59 take part in the linear assessment.
