The team was made up of Katie House, South West, Sally Howarth, Yorkshire, Lizzy Mercer, Western, Georgie Fisher, Border & Lakeland, Anna Goldie, North East, Simon Kirk, East Midlands and Sam Clarke, South & Wiltshire. The team awoke to day one of European Young Breeders School (EYBS). Each member excitedly opened the envelope they were given to reveal the calves they had been assigned for the week and was excited to get over to the EYBS tent in order to see their calves. The morning involved both bedding and washing workshops, during which the young members gained an insight into what the School Leaders were looking for and scoring them against over the course of the event.
