Once again we must ask why Agriscot is fast becoming the place to be in November? Could it be the Sassenachs need a day out and there's airport next to the show, or do visitors go to see how a show should be run, or is it the free admission? Whatever the reason, almost ten thousand visitors flocked to the 2009 event. With its unique atmosphere and the great friendly rivalry between north and south, many top class cows and Agriscot's answer to the wedding march leading to the ring, we were set for a first class day. The main man in the ring was David Mayo from New South Wales in Australia and, seeing the great cows on show for the first time, he made his decisions decisively and quickly.
