This has been a challenging year for the journal operation. I went through a steep learning curve to get up to speed on the current manuscript review process while working to debug and test out the new on-line manuscript management system. In addition to transitioning to a web-based manuscript submission and management system, the Journal also has changed its production vendor as well as the on-line publication platform. The new platform will take full advantage of the functionality associated with on-line publication and will provide a better user experience in searching and accessing journal articles.
