This issue of the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology again presents a spectrum of topics in imaging science, including some at the farthest reaches of the field, such as the article by Dr. Gabrijelcic and her co-workers on the design of camouflage uniforms for use by the Slovenian military, using imaging science principles but also a great deal of art. Another article which extends our conceptualization of the scope of imaging science concerns the Shroud of Turin image; I will have more to say about this article below.
