摘要

The investigation shows that using internal combustion coal-oxygen burner for the in- tensification of melting in EAF is feasible. Internal combustion coal-oxygen burner is better than ex- ternal combustion coal-oxygen burner in the performance and energy saving of the process. Electri- cal consumption is decreased by 40 kW.h/t, melting time is shortened by 18 min. The application of internal combustion coal-oxygen burner has a significant effect on decreasing EAF energy con- sumption.
