摘要

For public transport to work well, its riders must be on board - literally and metaphorically. Reports have shown that there is a strong belief in public transport as a service in Scandinavian countries. Jens Plambeck, Director of Strategic Development at Stockholm Public Transport, attests to this. "I think there is perhaps an attitude connected to how citizens look at public transport. The ridership here in Stockholm is a little bit over 50% but if you look in the peak hours the ridership is around the 80s actually", he says.
