Alain Flausch retired at the end How would you describe of December 2017, after having served as Secretary General of UITP for the past 6 years. Prior to joining UITP, Mr Flausch was CEO of STIB, Brussels' main public transport operator from 2000 to 2011. Mr Flausch has been one of the main international figures promoting and advancing public transport. Known for being a result-driven leader, Mr Flausch helped expand UITP's activities to all regions, emphasising the need for the sector and the organisation to keep modernising and gaining in efficiency.
