摘要

The increasing need for mobility of billions of people around the globe is not new - nor is it likely to abate any time soon. Public transportation already covers the majority of mobility needs. In urban areas, more and more people are looking for accessible options to combine both public and private transportation. For car users the key does not lie in eliminating cars, but in changing the behaviour of why and how a car is used. In combining private and public modes of transport, car usage can be limited to being a complementary option rather than a competing one. The assets of combined mobility are flexibility, convenience, cost saving and environmental friendliness.
