摘要

The basic idea behind the work of the Youth Parliament has been -and is-to enhance the appeal of public transport and thus boost the numbers of people who use it. Train travel needs to be enjoyable again. The Youth Parliament wants modern and user-friendly smart phone technology to be a means of involving passengers more deeply in the mobility chain, and at the same time offering them greater autonomy, spontaneity and flexibility. This should put customers back again at the centre of what we do, because in public transport the customer is king and SmartCruise will be his crown. For this purpose SmartCruise links the possibilities of today's technology with customer requirements and modern-day journey demands, bundling together ten applications in the process. These are divided into three categories: iLikre (utility apps), iMove (entertainment apps) and iDesire (comfort apps).
