On 15 May 2008, a performance-related bonus will be paid out to each LVB employee for the third time. The level of the bonus received will depend on how many bonus points each employee accumulates in 2007. Irrespective of whether the employee works as a driver or in administration, the bonus points feature two main components in the form of performance criteria and attendance days. Both of these bonus components stem from LVB's corporate goal of providing convenient, customer-orientated PT services. Yet how are these internal performance assessments conducted for LVB's 450 administrative staff and 1,100 drivers?
