摘要

Although Car-Sharing and sustainable development way seem obvious partners, this workshop was the first time that UITP has organised an event on both of these topics. The Societe des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxeltes (STIB), the Brussels public transport operator, made an ideal local host for the event, as it is both a full signatory of the UITP Sustainable Development Charter and, together with cambio, it has developed a successful Car-Sharing scheme in Brussels. Didier Dumont, Director of the "Bouquet de Transports" Department at STIB, chairs the UITP Car-Sharing Platform. The workshop was part of the series of coaching and training workshops organised for signatories of the UITP Sustainable Development Charter.
