摘要

The Department for Work and Pensions has worked closely with people from across the UK to develop the NAP. The report is in three sections which update on progress against the 2006-2008 Plan, highlight the key challenges which need to be addressed to move forward with this agenda and outline the governance arrangements which are in place to ensure 'joined up' delivery of the Government's strategy across the UK. Transport accessibility is an important factor in addressing these challenges which are summarised under the following headings: 1.Increasing access to employment: Full employment is at the heart of the UK strategy to ensure an inclusive, cohesive and prosperous society with fairness and social justice.
