Die deutsche Arbeitsstelle des Repertoire International d'lconographie Musicale (RldlM), angesiedelt an der deutschen RISM-Arbeitsgruppe, erschließt seit 1979 bildliche Darstellungen von Musik in deutschen Sammlungen, unabhängig von deren zeitlicher und künstlerischer Einordnung. Die 1989 etablierte Datenbank ist seit einigen Jahren im Internet frei zugänglich. Berichtet wird über Ziele von RldlM, die Vorgehensweise der deutschen Arbeitsstelle bei der Erschließung sowie über die Webpräsentation von RldlM Deutschland: Datenbank zu Musik und Tanz in der bildenden Kunst. Das aktuelle Laufzeitende des Projekts Ende 2015 bietet den Anlass, entsprechende Perspektivierungen für dieses Unternehmen in Deutschland zur Diskussion zu stellen. The German branch office of the Repertoire International d'lconographie Musicale (International Inventory of Musical Ico-nography), known as RldlM, is associated with the German RISM project group and has been documenting visual materials relat-ing to music in Cerman collections - regardless of period or art-ist - since 1979. The resulting database, which was established in 1989, has been online for several years. This article deals with the goals of RldlM and the documentation process and Website of the Cerman branch, including its database for music and dance in the fine arts.
