摘要

The relocation of the German Music Archive (DMA) from Berlin to Leipzig two years ago represented a new beginning. Its collections, which encompass sheet music and recordings as well as various historical music players, have found a home in the stacks of the annex building at the German National Library's Leipzig site. In addition, the archive acquired two recording studios with analog and digital technology which can be used both by the staff and the archive's users. This article describes the archive's collection mission, the challenges involved in maintaining the holdings and the services available to the user.%Der Umzug des Deutschen Musikarchivs (DMA) von Berlin nach Leipzig vor bald zwei Jahren bedeutete einen Neustart. Die Be-stände, die neben Notenmaterial und Tondokumenten auch eine Sammlung historischer Abspielgeräte umfassen, wurden in den neuen Magazinen des jüngsten Erweiterungsbaus der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek in Leipzig eingebracht. Zudem erhielt das Musikarchiv mit zwei Tonstudios, die analoge und digitale Ton-technik umfassen, einem Hörstudio und einem eigenen neuen Lesesaal eine neue Ausstattung, von der seine Beschäftigten wie auch die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer gleichermaßen profitieren. Der Beitrag beschreibt die Sammlungsschwerpunkte, Herausforde-rungen der Bestandserhaltung und stellt die Nutzungsmöglich-keiten der Medien vor.
