Data, data, data. That seems to be all we hear about these days. We create data, we find data for patrons, and we gather data on CDs, DVDs, and network servers. Data has become one of those intangible tangibles, if that's possible. We know it's there but we can't put our hands on it. It's like faith! You have to believe brother that it will be there when you need it ... if you remember where you saved it. This brings up several issues we deal with all too often, such as how to organize it, provide access to it, use it, modify it and save it as a new version, plus all the metadata that goes along with it.
