摘要

The grating light valve (GLV) is a diffractive Optical MEMS based display device. In GLV device a less deflection is encountered in the biasing ribbon, due to the coupling of electric field lines from the nearby actuated ribbons, which produce a deflection in unaddressed ribbon causing a limit in the efficiency. In this paper we find the induced voltage in the biasing ribbons due to the fringing field of adjacent active ribbons and tabulated their respective deflections in biasing ribbon.
