Every June, the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) hosts a product management conference, and for several years the Product Development & Management Association (PDMA) has been closely affiliated with this conference and has published the top articles in a special issue of this journal. The 2007 conference took place in Porto, Portugal, and I am delighted to introduce this special issue, which contains the best articles from this conference as selected by a committee of PDMA and EIASM senior members.
