I am not on my knees at three in the morning barfing into the toilet as a political statement.I do not care if you drink liquor or eat red meat or deep fry in monounsaturated fats. Caring for my body is my full-time job. Whether you are Republican or Democrai or Fascist or Socialist Anarchist Feminist will not give me a fever.I do not spend seven hours a day, too sick to talk or eat or pee, watching reruns of "Roseanne,"as a political statement. My muscles burning and twitching;my purpled skin peeling off my toes;my nightstand balancing five brands of pain pills and twelve bottles of supplements at a dollar per capsule: None of these are a political statement.
