Rob Rosenthal's podcast, HowSound, is a portable classroom for would-be producers and audiophiles. HowSound benefits from Rosenthal's years of experience teaching radio production at the Transom Story Workshop and at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, where he launched The Institute's first radio program. In HowSound, Rosenthal tackles common and uncommon producer quandaries anywhere from "how to build tension" to "how do you play an inaudible, low-frequency whale song?"
