摘要

ASAM pulping process of bagasse was investigated with special reference to the effect of alkali ratio (Na_2SO_3/total alkali) and methanol concentration in the pulping liquor. ASAM pulping of Bagasse was carried out at different temperatures (150-190 deg. C) for different times intervals (30-210 min). ASAM cooking of bagasse results in high yields of pulp with low lignin content and excellent strength properties. Rate of delignification as well as kinetic study of ASAM pulping of bagasse were investigated.
