A new process incorporating electrophoretic deposition and a photolithographic tech- nique was developed for coating repeating triads of 75μm-wide stripes composed of green ZnSiO_4:Mn(P1), red Y_2O_3:Eu(P56), and blue ZnS:Ag,Cl(P11) phosphor particles. The resolution of The screens produced is 100 triads of phosphor stripes per inch of substrate. SEM micrographs show A high degree of phosphor stripe edge precision with relatively little cross-contamination. Cathodolu- Minescence measurements revealed that the chromaticity of the phosphors were not altered by the Coating process.
