AS GOSSAMER structures are planned for possible deploymentnon various missions over the next decade, the development ofnverified computational models to predict their dynamic behavior onnorbit is vital. This is because extensive testing of full-scale gossamernprototypes under operational conditions (e.g., 0 g, vacuum) is notnpossible onEarth due to their large size, and so computationalmodelsnwill be the primary means of exploring various design alternatives.nTo verify the accuracy of these computational models, subscale,nfull-field surface data from dynamic measurements of gossamernstructures performed under various conditions (atmospheric andngravitational) will be used to verify subscale computational models
