This paper describes a Ku-Band driver amplifier designed and developed for Ku-Band Active Array Antenna to be flown in future GSAT missions. The driver amplifier is Intended to feed a set of power amplifiers in the antenna array after power division and Amplification. The driver amplifier operates at 12.22 GHz. The power output at 1dB Compression point is 1.4W. The various aspects of the design of the said amplifier are Discussed in this paper.
