摘要

Combined with a specially made blackbody, a Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectral radiometer was developed to measure the fabric's surface emissivity in the 8-14 μm waveband at ambient temperature. The mathematical model of measuring fabric's surface emissivity was put forward by the author. The results show that the surface emissivity of fabric is different from each other, and the order is PA > PET > wool > cotton > electroless plating fabric. The surface emissivity of blend fabric is determined by the characteristics of materials it constitutes. For coated fabric, its surface emissivity is greatly influenced by the binder. The colour has no effect on surface emissivity for the same fabric. The surface of fabric has a great influence on surface emissivity. The surface emissivity of fabric does not change below 200℃.
