For the United States, a country in which income differentials are growing and shelter poverty increasing at an alarming rate, this book makes an urgent call for a social agenda that is centered on a "right to housing." The book explains the growing inequality in part through controversies such as the disparity between housing assistance for the wealthy and the poor.
