The following is an interesting account of the trip of a lifetime! Written by Marilyn Burton and taken from Avon Guild's Newsletter. In January I set off from Heathrow with my friend Ann to visit Cambodia and Vietnam on a trip organised by Siripan Kidd, she's a Thai lady who designs and makes contemporary quilts and has researched traditional silk weaving in Cambodia. We started off in Siem Reap, to visit the world's largest religious monument, Angkor Wat, and other temples.
