This article continues the outline of construction techniques we began in the previous issue of The Journal. This time we are presenting six additional construction methods and have included a list of references for further independent exploration. These references are biased to sources available in Canada; nonetheless, they do provide a starting point for further exploration. Before tackling these additional techniques, you might like to return to Part 1 and our introductory remarks about controlling diameter and twist. As always, give yourself enough time to play, to experiment and to practice these techniques. There is nothing magical about them; however, they can provide the beginnings for almost infinite exploration of colour and fibre combinations.
